We are hiring (2) Sr Java Developer. Each position will work on the same team, supporting different applications and projects.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an energized individual, with a “start-up mentality”, to join our MCOE (Multi-channel Center of Excellence) focused on mobility. This role is in our Innovation team, which is focused on prototyping new ideas/technology for our business.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Apply industry technology trends and business partner needs to identify value add mobile innovation opportunities
2. Develop a variety of mobile solutions for tablet and phone form factors
3. Build high performance, stable and maintainablecode bases
4. Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements
5. Work closely with Scrum Master and QA, Businessand other constituents
6. Ensure overall effort stays on track and goals are met
Required Skills:
1. Mobile Experience: Experienced with design and develop mobile/web software; Kony platform knowledge a plus
2. Development Languages: Java, JavaScript,JSON and REST services, XML, App Store, Xcode, Android SDK, Responsive Design, HTML5
3. Agile Methodology: Rapid prototyping concepts
4. Soft Skills: Self motivated and passionate about the power of mobile technology
5. Communications: Strong communication andcollaboration and analytical skills; Ability to work with developers from other teams to deliver a mobile solution
Position Summary:
We are looking for an energized individual, with solid services development background to join our MCOE (Multi-channel Center of Excellence). This role is in our Externalization team, which is focused services development to be used across channels (mobile, web, voice, chat).
Job responsibilities:
1. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
2. Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives.
3. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
4. Responsible for program and system design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
5. Provides technical leadership on complex projects.
6. Ability to oversee diverse assignments and monitor/check the work of other systems analysis and programming personnel.
7. May act as expert in business applications and/or cross functional areas.
Required Skills:
1. Strong technical skills in the following: Java, JavaScript, JSON and REST services, XML, RAD
2. Experience in Agile methodology and toolset highly desired
3. Leads or acts as chief technical contributor to translation of business requirements to technical specifications.
4. Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization.
5. Oversees technical activities (including analysis, planning, architecture, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance) for assigned projects or enhancements.
6. Utilizes accepted methodology & tools in a disciplined manner, which may include execution of key technical reviews at sprint demos.
7. Coaches and trains other team members as appropriate.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.
