POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an Online Marketing Campaign Manager with the energy, expertise and passion in the online marketing arena to join our Marketing team. The successful candidate will be a good mix of experience with all aspects of direct marketing—particularly in digital channels and managing new customer acquisition campaigns.
The candidate will identify and develop programs that ensure our member acquisition strategies effectively reach and engage prospective customers through a variety of online channels including: paid search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, mobile advertising, and social/viral networking and other emerging channels.
The focus of this role is to improve, grow and optimize existing online marketing channels while developing new marketing programs to contribute to the company’s growth. The candidate will have proven success in strategy development, consumer direct response marketing, online media planning/buying, negotiation and cross-functional leadership. This requires innovation and experience in emerging technologies to complement traditional online acquisition programs and direct response programs.
Candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing acquisition efforts in relation to budget objectives and for identifying gaps/areas of opportunity and provide key data driven insights to influence strategic decisions across our acquisition activities.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to and implement marketing plans for consumer acquisition in key markets, including coordination with media agency on paid media planning and buying. Create testing plans and ensure marketing performance and results.
• Oversee the creative development, set-up, testing and deployment of online marketing assets. This will require strong program management skills and ability to deliver marketing campaigns on-time, on-budget and with the highest quality. Will manage multiple campaigns at one-time under accelerated timelines.
• Work cross functionally with areas like finance and business intelligence, legal, customer service and various other key business partners. Some vendor management responsibility.
• Monitor campaign performance and results via web analytics and tracking, analyze key metrics and develop strategies to optimize performance. Provide feedback and analysis to management and other business functions.
• Use online and mobile campaign tools to facilitate creative development, tests and campaign deployment. Familiarity with products like Adobe Analytics would be valuable.
• Own measurement, reporting and forecasting of online acquisition activities
• Keep pace with emerging online trends to increase effectiveness of Marketing
• Ensure acquisition targets for all digital platforms are met within budget requirements
• Monitor competitors and provide recommendations to ensure market share within the category
• Work with agencies on creation of digital acquisition assets to drive results
Skills/Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or relevant field of study
• 7-9 years digital acquisition experience with a proven track record in fast-track campaign optimization
• Deep knowledge of all key online metrics: open rates, click-through percents, conversion percents, cpm, cpc, cpa
• Experience working with internal teams and external agencies in the creation of assets needed to satisfy digital campaign requirements
• Relevant experience within a marketing environment
• Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
• Passion for marketing acquisition principles
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills
• Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional time and project management and the ability to juggle long and short-term deadlines in a dynamic working environment

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated the implementation of best practices in all aspects of online marketing with a solid understanding of user experience best practices, online marketing principles, direct response marketing measurements, and consumer behavior
