As part of our team, you will be part of a fast-paced, innovative and collaborative environment, working with closely with subject matter experts and colleagues. You formulate and define solution scope and objectives. You will work with a team of Developers / Engineers on functional requirements and specifications. You will use Object Oriented Design and Unit Testing / Test Driven Development techniques to design, code, test, debug, and deploy automation services in an Agile software development environment.
Fundamental Components:
This position will be assigned to a team responsible for developing automation solutions for Platform Engineering. The automation solutions are critical for rapid, error free technology deployment that simplify services for our consumers and enable higher productivity for our engineers and application developers.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
4+ years experience in application program development, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Expertise in one or more programming language, development tools, and/or databases and the systems development life cycle, applicable to development organization. Experience with the agile software development. Expertise with ServiceNow a plus.
·Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of working independently and in small groups of developers.
·Lead / assist with formulation and definition of solution scope and objectives while working with a team of Developers / Engineers on functional requirements and specifications.
·Able to use Object Oriented Design and Unit Testing / Test Driven Development techniques to design, code, test, debug, and document the automation services.
·Strong communication skills and be able to provide guidance and training to less-experienced programmer/analysts.
·They need to instill coding excellence and quality into the team and culture and have ability and desire to learn new technologies/skills.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
