* This is a full time Work at Home position. Ideal location is Phoenix, AZ, but willing to look at candidates in different locations with the expectation that you''ll be required to be in the Phoenix, AZ office one week out of the month.POSITION SUMMARY: Aetna Medicaid is an industry leader in healthcare management including the complex populations who require long term support solutions and Medicaid/Medicare dual eligible population. The Director of Long Term Care Services will provide strategic leadership to the development and maintenance of national Long Term Care Solution programs, policies and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage clinical operations focused on improving clinical and financial outcomes, member engagement, and satisfaction.
- Serve as liaison with regulatory and accrediting agencies and other health business units.
- Formulate and implement strategy for achieving applicable department/unit metrics and provide operational direction.
- Serve as technical, professional and business resource (may cross multiple business functions).
- Develop and participate in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective customers.
- Direct/provide enhancements to business processes, policies and infrastructure to improve operational efficiency (may cross multiple business functions).
- Participates in internal and external health industry development efforts.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures, which meet business needs (may cross multiple business functions).
- Implements and monitors business plan and oversees any implementations or business transitions impacting service operations.
- Collaborates and partners with other business areas across/within regions or segments and within other centralized corporate areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed on an on-going basis.
- Promote a clear vision aligned with company values and direction; sets specific challenging and achievable objectives and action plans; motivates others to balance customer needs and business success; challenges self and others to look to the future to create quality products, services, and solutions.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor''s degree.
LICENSE:
- RN license in any state is highly desired.
REQUIED SKILLS:
- 8-10 years clinical leadership experience within Medicaid and Medicare.
- Long Term Care experience within managed care/insurance and on the provider side is required.
- Ability to synthesize program performance and clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrates both strategic and tactical execution leadership experience.
- Experience with both state, community and healthcare management stakeholders is key.
- 3-5 years organizational leadership experience highly desired.
- 3-5 years leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success leading high complexity projects.
- Strategic business acumen and proven leadership skills.
- Ability to articulate, promote, and implement a plan.
- Ability to influence diverse teams and build strong relationships.
- Ability to collaborate with and understand the needs of diverse audiences, including operations, clinicians and technology constituents and to translate those needs to action.
- Must demonstrate strategic thinking as well as “roll up your sleeves” action.
- Excellent team collaboration skills, both internally and externally.

- This is a national role that will require roughly 50% - 75% travel.
