Candidates must have at least 6 years of experience working with Managed Care or Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Candidates must also have at least 7 years of experience working with sales or account management.

Candidates must be local to the Plantation, FL office. There would be travel required quarterly to the customer's corporate office.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and/ or Behavioral Health (BH) account management to facilitate delivery of appropriate quality care, improve program/operational efficiency involving clinical issues, and serve as a strategic consultant for our plan sponsors.

Fundamental Components:

* Acts as strategic business partner to plan sponsors and producers to optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services (and specifically EAP and/ or BH) to attain profitability and membership objectives.
* Assist in creating awareness program for behavioral health and EAP/ work-life management programs among employees and dependents.
* Meets assigned retention and profitability objectives and creates long term strategies that maximize customer retention, including leadership with plan sponsor renewals.
* Coordinates resources to ensure a successful case installation of new products and services.
* Proactively offers creative solutions to complex problems and assists in resolving member/plan sponsor complaints.
* Work in close concert with National/Middle account representative to coordinate all client activity and contact.
* Thoroughly analyzes and reviews reports and utilization in order to consult with customers, implement appropriate interventions and drive mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and Aetna.
* Articulates customers overall strategy within Aetna to ensure creative development and/or delivery of appropriate products, services and to support strong partnerships in order to identify needs.
* Proactively assesses competitive environment and develops sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
* Plays an "Executive Sponsorship" role and develops relationships with senior levels of with Customers.
* Demonstrated ability to act as role model for less senior colleagues.
* Identify own development and performance needs, including product industry and technical knowledge initiating actions to address those needs.
* Effectively communicates Aetna's Value Proposition to customers and producers.

Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to serve in a plan sponsor facing position to leverage and maximize the impact of Aetna programming, and to serve as a strategic consultant to help shape plan sponsors' health and productivity initiatives as it relates to EAP and behavioral health.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
6-8 years of experience in the field of managed behavioral health care and/or EAPrequired. Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work preferred.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree.
