Undergraduate Summer Internship – Consumer Business

Locations: Hartford, CT

Start Date: June 6th, 2016

End Date: August 12th, 2016

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Our undergraduate summer internships are a great way to gain confidence, sharpen your skills and make a difference. An internship with Aetna can prepare you for a great career with our organization. Our program starts on Monday June 6thand ends on Friday August 12th2016 and is open to students actively pursuing an undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation date that is after the end of our program (December 2016+ graduates)

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:
As part of our Consumer Business team, you will be engaged in a fast-paced, innovative and collaborative environment, working with a close-knit group of colleagues.Interns are able to contribute to important work related todigital asset management, consumer research, supporting community relations and health promotion initiatives, and develop marketing and communication tactics for consumer-facing initiatives among other things.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Current college Junior/Senior with an interest in improving health care for individual consumers.If you possess creative, critical and analytical thinking skills; effective written and verbal communications; flexibility and agility; and strategic problem-solving skills: than this is the opportunity is for you!
EDUCATION
Our program is designed for current undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor s degree with an anticipated graduation date of December 2016+.Successful candidates can be pursuing a broad range of degree programs including business administration, liberal arts, information technology, and health care administration with a 3.0+ GPA (Desired)
