This winter season we have a lots of fabulous music acts gracing the stage at the GE Oil & Gas Arena and we guarantee you won’t want to miss it!

Things are kicking off with Fall Out Boy who will be rolling in to AECC on 4th October. The guys from Chicago started their ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ Tour in May 2015 in America and Canada and will be starting the European leg of the tour on 1st October.  The multi-platinum selling band released the highly anticipated sixth studio album ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ album in January 2015.

Fresh from the scorching success of their number one album ‘The Day Is My Enemy’, The Prodigy are set to play Aberdeen for the first time on 22nd November. The Essex ravers have had a full on summer playing numerous festivals including Scotland’s very own T in the Park and are looking forward to getting back on the road and visiting Aberdeen!

The Proclaimers,  Scottish born twin brothers Charlie and Craig Reid, are famous for anthems such as “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles), “Letter from America” and “I’m On My Way” and they will be ‘on their way’ to AECC on 28th November!

Scottish rock band Simple Minds will be rocking it out on stage in the GE Oil & Gas Arena for the third time since 1991 on 1st December as part of their “Big Music Tour”. They will be accompanied by The Stranglers and Lead singer for Simple Minds, Jim Kerr has spoken of his appreciation for the band, “We know our audience will appreciate seeing both bands together during this arena tour.”

Status Quo will return to the GE Oil & Gas Arena for the twelfth time on 2nd December! The band last played the venue back in 2010 and we look forward to welcoming them to Aberdeen when they play here as part of their Accept No Substitute UK Tour on 2nd December!

Since bursting onto the scene in 1985 with their seminal cover of ‘Money’s Too Tight to Mention’, Simply Red have recorded a string of classic, landmark albums that defined British R‘n’B throughout the 1980s and 90s – introducing a generation to the joys of soul music and Mick Hucknall’s iconic voice. Limited tickets are still available for the show on 6th December.

The ‘King of Waltz’, Andre Rieu is bringing his 2015 Tour to the GE Oil & Gas Arena on 9th and 10th December. The colourful and fun concerts take fans on a musical journey around the world and Andre Rieu has said “It is wonderful to see how people from all over the world dance, sing and have a lot of fun no matter where they are from… We celebrate a big part every night together.”

Texas will be celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band at their gig on 19th November. Their Tour comes following on from the release of their album earlier this year, celebrating the very best of the multi-million selling, multi-platinum, Ivor Novello winning band, which went straight to number five in the UK album charts and number one in the independent charts.
