Hong Kong Disneyland - How To Get There

Hong Kong Disneyland is located at Lantau Island.  The best way to reach it is via MTR trail.  Get off at Sunny Bay Station (Orange Line or Tung Chung Line) and hop in at the special Disney inspired train to Disneyland.

last train to hop in before reaching Disneyland!

And we're here! hooray!

During our visit, there were only four themes on Disneyland.  But now, there's even Toy Story Land which I will be looking forward on my future visit.  (We arrived here about 11-1130am.)

Main Street, U.S.A.

Upon entering Disneyland, first theme to see is the Main Street.  Main Street, U.S.A. is ideal for picture taking and most of souvenir shops are located here.

Fantasyland

Few walks from Main Street U.S.A., we then entered the Fantasyland.  Check out the Sleeping Beauty Castle here in fantasyland!

After tons of picture taking, we tried the Mickey's PhilarMagic 3-D adventure.  The weather was really hot during our visit so we liked the idea of going inside. I enjoyed it and think it's worth a try.

Walking around, we found ourselves falling in line to take pictures with most of our favorite Disney friends.

Because we chose to have pictures with Mickey Mouse and friends first, here we were, taking our late lunch in Fantasyland.  Honestly, I didn't like the taste of spareribs I ordered.  But we were really hungry so we ate until we were full.

Few minutes before 3pm we waited for the Flights of Fantasy Parade here in FantasyLand.

TIP: Check Hong Kong Disneyland's website for the schedule of the parade during your visit, I just checked the website, it is now at 1pm.  It is a must-see!!!

Sharing some photos taken during the Flights of Fantasy Parade.  I always love parades, so colorful!

After the beautiful parade, we just followed the people and looks like they were walking to the theater for The Golden Mickeys show!  I actually have no idea, my officemate told me beforehand to watch shows here in Disneyland.  Gladly I kept that in mind. :)

Next, we followed the people (again haha) and we're about to take a cruise called It's a Small World and sing to the tune of "It's A Small World (after all)" song in different languages.  Philippines spotted represented by tarsier.  So cute! :D

Tomorrowland

The futuristic theme of Disneyland!

We saw a long line in Autopia, being curious we found ourselves falling in line as well.

Space Mountain ride is one of the highly recommended rides, too bad it was on maintenance. (on a friday?!)

Adventureland

We went to Adventureland and tried out the Jungle River Cruise.  I like it!  We weren't able to catch Festival of the Lion King theater show here, but it must be good as well.  We saw Tarzan's Treehouse which I think a great spot for kids to check out.

After the Jungle River Cruise, we looked for a spot just before the castle where we could watch the fireworks everyone wanted to see.  The Tinker Bell Castle, a castle lightshow was shown first before the fireworks display.

And lastly, the highlight of our visit, the Hong Kong Disneyland Fireworks Display!  What a lovely sight!

Thanks Hong Kong Disneyland for a very fun day! :)
