If you are following me via Pinterest,Twitter or Facebook you might have noticed that I have been sharing and talking about finding healthy and tasty snacks/foods for my kids especially since they are back in school.
Today I will share a review about Healthy Choice Greek Frozen Yogurt.
Each serving has 4 grams of protein and 100 calories It’s made with real fruit, nonfat milk and all-natural yogurt cultures. I've been experimenting with having newer snacks ready for the kids when they got home from school so I thought it would be a perfect time to try it out.
We had two flavors to taste from which were Strawberry and Vanilla. Additional flavors available are Raspberry and Blueberry. Each package included 3 containers.
I must say one thing I did like off the bat was the packaging not only was it easy to store in the freezer but the packaging itself was informative. I don't know about you and your family but we love reading packaging. Each box had a little story about each of the flavors which I appreciated and found fun to read with the kids.
Now as far as the tastes I must say they were really good. For the Strawberry we got 2 out of 3 who liked it. The boys said they enjoyed it and they were able to taste the strawberries and yogurt but still had a "frozen treat" feel. For my little girl she actually found it was a bit too tart for her liking.
The Vanilla Flavor was the house favorite with 3 out of 3 really liking it. They said it almost tasted like vanilla ice cream. I already was asked to purchase some more when I go grocery shopping. My oldest who is the pickiest eater said he'd have that instead of ice cream. YES my jaw was on the floor when I heard that.
As for myself I was happy with the serving size and taste (as the kids shared a few tastes w/me) and good for that little something to have in between meals. My kids approve and it was added into my list of snacks.
