Mike and Marguerite Mumford, owners of Paul Davis Restoration of North Florida have named five new employees to serve customers throughout the company’s service territory. Lori Yelton has been named as an estimator assistant. Chris Roland is a new estimator. New project managers include Jeff Berkowitz, Phil Craine, and Rick Valente.
Yelton will be responsible for supporting the estimating function internally and coordinating communications with insurance clients. For more than 38 years, Yelton has served as a professional in the insurance industry as a field adjustor and claims associate for national insurance carriers with responsibilities throughout the United States. She holds a degree in Associate in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America. Yelton resides in Neptune Beach, Fla.
Chris Roland will be responsible for estimating restoration jobs and coordinating insurance claim losses for clients. Roland has more than 10 years of experience in new home construction and remodeling. He owned and operated a residential construction business and also worked as an adjustor for a national insurance carrier. He holds an insurance adjustors license in the State of Georgia and is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). He is an EPA certified renovator. Roland resides in St. Marys, Ga.
The project managers will be responsible for overseeing jobs in residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction of property damages from water, fire, smoke, vandalism, and mold insurance claim losses, among others.
Specifically, Jeff Berkowitz has more than 31 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling and master carpentry work in Florida and New York. He has owned and operated his own business. Berkowitz is a licensed general contractor in the State of Florida and is an EPA certified renovator. Berkowitz has vast experience as a master carpenter and detailed craftsman. He resides in St. Johns, Fla.
Phil Craine has more than 22 years of experience as a construction professional in residential and commercial projects along with in depth expertise in estimating, project management and supervision. He is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and is an EPA certified renovator. Craine is certified in mold remediation from the American Society of Professional Estimators and holds a Construction Management degree from the Associated General Contractors of America. He resides in St. Augustine, Fla.
Rick Valente is licensed as a general contractor, home inspector, and insurance adjustor in the State of Florida. He has specialized in new residential and commercial construction for more than 40 years. Valente has vast experience as a business owner in the construction trades and has worked in the insurance restoration and reconstruction field. He also specializes in insulating concrete form (ICF) construction and materials in homebuilding along with design and build services. Valente resides in Jacksonville, Fla.
