Where did you grow up in Australia?
Sydney, Australia

Where are some of the interesting places you have lived around the world?
I've lived in Olsztyn, Poland (3 months), Angouleme, France (5 months), and Vienna, Austria (1 year), during which I romped around Europe generally - France, Italy, Poland, Austria, Spain, Switzerland and very briefly, Belgium, Hungary and the UK.

Where are you currently living?
At home in Sydney.

What do you do?
At the moment (August 2012) I'm halfway through a double degree in Law and Biotechnology at the University of Technology, Sydney, where I also work as a research assistant in the School of Medical and Molecular Biosciences and a U:PASS learning facilitator in first-year chemistry and biology subjects.

What's a hidden secret of your city?
The variety of the suburbs! Everyone who has lived in Sydney has had a different experience, and very few of these fit the stereotype. Different areas of Sydney each have their own flavour and culture, each one fascinating to explore.

What's your favorite cafe/bar/restaurant in your current city?
If I had to pick just one, it would have to be Chat Thai on Campbell St - just across from the Capitol Theatre.

Describe your adopted hometown/current city in three words.
Vienna - European cultural gem. Sydney - cosmopolitan seaside metropolis.

What do you miss most about Australia when you are overseas?
The people, the weather and the subtle scent of the sea.
