Briefly state iro the CBSE Notified National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 for Admission into Under Graduate Courses consisting of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Post Graduate Program for the Academic Session 2017 – 2018.
CBSE NEET 2017 Online Registration Form
Online Registration for National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test 2017 commenced on the 31st of January 2017 (31.01.2017) with the Deadline for submission of the Online Application Forms closing on the 1st of March 2017 (01.03.2017).
Schedule For Correction:
Online Correction of Data in Application Form will come to an end on the 8th of March 2017 (08.03.2017).
Eligibility Criteria:
Upper Age Limit:
The Upper Age Limit for the NEET is 25 Years as on the Date of Examination with Relaxation of 05 Years for Candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST Category.
The Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Oversees Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are Eligible to appear in NEET (UG) – 2017 & also Eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.
CBSE NEET 2017 Admit Card
The Central Board of Secondary Education shall upload Latest by the 14th of April 2017 the e-Admit Cards / Hall Examination Tickets on NEET Website. The Candidates likely to appear in National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test 2017 may be able to download the electronic Admission Certificates / Admittance Tickets by the 15th of April 2017 (15.04.2017).
National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (UG) 2017
The Central Board of Secondary Education has scheduled the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test 2017 for the 7th of May 2017 for Admission into Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Dental Surgery Course.
NEET (UG) Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet / Answers Key:
We look forward to the Central Board of Secondary Education to release within 03 Days post NEET 2017 the Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet / Answers Key in Set A, Set B, Set C, Set D to seek Objections to the same from the Candidates.
National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (UG) Result 2017
The Central Board of Secondary Education shall announce on the 8th of June 2017 (08.06.2017) the Results and NEET Rank concurrently on the Official Website.
NEET (UG) Counseling for Seat Allotment:
Selection Criteria:
The Central Board of Secondary Education declared NEET – 2017 Result shall be followed by the Counseling to be conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee. The Medical Counseling Committee shall communicate the Dates for Counseling for under 15% All India Quota and 85% Delhi University Quota.
The Directorate General of Health Services shall conduct the Counseling of the Candidates under 15% Seats All India Quota.
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) shall hold the Counseling of the Candidates under 85% Delhi University Quota.
National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (UG):2017:
The Central Board of Secondary Education shall draw up the All India Merit List (AIML) on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the NEET – 2017 under 15% All India Quota (AIQ) from the said List in compliance with the Existing Reservation Policies (ERPs) for Admission into MBBS / BDS for Seats under 15% All India Quota and also for seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions in the Academic Session 2017-18 and other Criteria decided with these Keywords NEET UG Cutoff 2017, NEET 2017 General Cut-off, NEET AIPMT State Cutoff 2017,neet results Analysis 2017, etc.
All other Existing Eligibility Criteria for admission into MBBS / BDS at the participating States / Universities / Institutions shall be in accordance with the Policies the participating States / Universities / Institutions.
In order to be considered for 85% Delhi University Quota, the Eligible Candidates appearing in the upcoming National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test 2017 scheduled for 07.05.2016 and should also have applied to the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), University of Delhi on the Online Application Form submitted to the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi
Inter-se Merit for Tie-breaking:

The Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the All India National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test – 2017
The Candidates obtaining Higher Marks in Chemistry of the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test 2017.
The Candidates with less number of attempted wrong answers in all the subjects in the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test.
Age of the Candidates (i.e., Seniority in the form of the Age or Candidate’s being Older in Age to be preferred).
Counseling for Seats under 15% All India Quota:
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) shall hold the Counseling for Seats under 15% All India Quota.
Counseling for Delhi University under 85% Seats DU Quota:
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) would conduct the Counseling for Seats under 85% Delhi University Quota.

Merit List for Seats Other than 15% All India Quota:
The Central Board of Secondary Education Based on the information in respect of the State Code of the Eligibility and Domicile filled in by the candidates in the Application Form and the Scores secured by them NEET consisting of the NEET – 2017, shall put forward the List of the Successful Candidates to the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of the State concerned for the purpose of Allotment of the seats through Online Counselling / Personal appearance by following the Rules and Reservation Policies applicable to the State / Union Territory concerned.
All participating Medical Institutions and Universities shall prepare their respective Ranking based on the All India Merit Lists of successful Candidates of the NEET 2017 and other Criteria as decided by them in respect of admission into Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery / Bachelor of Dental Surgery / Post Graduate Courses opted for by the Candidates with the Keywords NEET 2017 Cut-off, NEET 2017 Expected Cut-off, All India NEET 2017 Rank Predictor, NEET Expected Cutoff for Medical Colleges, etc.
The Central Board of Secondary Education shall draw up All India NEET Rank List of the Successful Candidates registered themselves for AFMC on Website shall be forwarded to the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Service, Ministry of Defence, Government of India for Second Stage Screening and Counselling.
