CMAT is the only test for admission in MBA Programmes in AICTE approved institutions and University Departments of all the states, and one of the five tests for PGDM programmes for 2014-15.

The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is conducted by AICTE to facilitate the management education aspirants to grab the opportunity of getting admission to a B school of their choice.  Management institutes affiliated to Universities in thirteen states of Chhatisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland,  Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and other private B schools approved by AICTE accept the CMAT scores.

CMAT serves as a good chance for the MBA aspirants who couldn’t fare so well in CAT and XAT to find a good management institute.

Top rated Management institutes in Maharashtra like JBIMS, SIMSREE, KJ Somaiya, PUBMA, where admission to their flagship MMS programmes is only through the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) also accept CMAT scores alongwith the scores of other important exams including MAH CET/ CAT/ XAT/ATMA. Those who have registered for MAHCET will have the opportunity to be considered for admission in these B schools.

CMAT 2015 Test Fees:-

The fee for Indian Candidates appearing for CMAT in India is Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable for General / OBC candidates. If you belong to the SC/ST/PD category then you need to pay a fee of Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable.

CMAT 2015 Eligibility criteria :

Graduates in any discipline or Final year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT.

NOTE: The eligibility criteria for admission to Management programs (Diploma and Post Graduation) is as mentioned below :
