Like last year, the fall points event means Sephora had something up their sleeve – Epic Rewards. For those of you that hoard your points in hopes of a good points perk, maybe you’ll find something you like in here. The only drawback? The fine print says quantities are “extremely limited”. Last year that translated to “everything is gone seconds after the page goes up”. Still, it may be worth stalking the page just in case. I don’t remember what time the mega-rewards went live last year, but I’d guess it would be either 12AM or 12PM PST (3AM or 3PM EST). Sephora, why oh why do you have to release things when I’m sleeping or at work?
Personally, I’ll be sitting this one out. I’m a points-spender, so while I technically could get to 1000 points by making a few purchases earlier than planned, I’m not dying for any of the 1000-point perks. Normally I’d magpie all over the Le Rouge set, but I already have two of the colors. I’d love the YSL or Armani perks, but they’re 2000 & 5000 points respectively. Unfortunately I just don’t have the $400-1200 to spend on makeup in the next week. Not to mention the chiropractor bills that would surely come from sleeping on the couch for the foreseeable future. Though I’ve just made a resolution to spend none of my points, and to plan my purchases around points multiplier events next year (or three).
