Have you experienced a time in your life when things seemed to be going around in a circle, instead of moving up, and it felt like you were falling? Anything you touched, looked the same. Anything you did, brought the same results. Anything you wrote just sounded the same, and you knew one thing. You either bring some new and fresh ideas to the table, or you are out of the game.

Just recently, I have been going through this stage of my life. It wasn’t just the boring part which frustrated me, it was the feeling that I am not moving anywhere. It felt like I am delivering the same quality all over again. So I brainstormed and found this fantastic course which I completed within 2 days and put some ideas into practice immediately. As a result, I finally broke through this boredom bubble and felt alive again.

The world is moving so quickly that adjusting to this speed reminds me of a marathon. For some of us, it may seem too fast to catch up, and others see it as a great challenge to improve. So, how can you keep it up with this great era we live in and deliver the best of yourself?

Here are 5 ways to do just that:

1. Absorb more knowledge

Devote yourself to learn one new thing every day. Either find out more about the area of your expertise or improve your spiritual self. Knowledge is power. You can lose everything in life but not your mind and what’s in it.

Some of us tend to slow down once we reach certain goals and kind of chill. This dangerous territory to stay in. You will not only prevent yourself from growth, but you will adopt new, disempowering habits.

We all need some refreshment once in awhile, something new which gets us excited. The best way how you can level-up is always staying focused on progress and working on your craft.

“Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.” – Albert Einstein

2. Make a plan while having a plan

Do you remember a situation when you set a goal which you were dying to achieve? You had such high expectations; you visualized yourself and how wonderful your life will be once you reach it. Then the big day came. Instead of enormous excitement and happiness from achievement, you found yourself depressed and frustrated, maybe asking “Is this it? Am I crazy that I am not happy? What’s wrong with me?”

There isn’t anything wrong with you. The only problem is that you didn’t set up another goal after the one you achieved. While you were working towards your previous goal, your body was in a constant movement, always creating and working hard, pushing and pushing. Your journey may have been hard, but there was always something going on; emotions flying around. Now you have nothing else to do since you’ve reached all you wanted.

Always have something else prepared. Don’t achieve what you want and then relax. Remember that one day you are on the top of the mountain, the other day you are borrowing money from some scamming company to pay your rent. Always keep it up. That’s the only guarantee for yourself.

3. How can you make it better?

Whatever you do in life, there is always some room for improvement. Constantly ask yourself these questions: “How can I make it better? How can I make it different?” Sometimes it may take you 3 months, 6 months to come up with this one fantastic and life-changing idea which will turn your life and business around. Time doesn’t matter, results do. By using these questions, you will be focusing on how to level-up in the area of your interest or how to improve yourself.

This creative mindset doesn’t apply to only money and business oriented success. What about your intimate relationship? How can you make it better and spice it up? What can you do for your better half to gain that dating intimacy again? Always brainstorm new ideas because there is no ceiling above your head.

4. Follow the best

Your mentor or your role model, should be like a map you follow. They will not only show you what to do and what direction to go, but he or she will challenge you and kind of piss you off. I don’t know about you, but sometimes, when I look at my role models and people I admire, I get sort of upset that I am not there with them. I want to hang out with them and know what yoga class they go to.

Some of you may say that your role models are too big to talk to, too busy to respond to your email. That’s fine. Buy their courses, follow them on social media or watch their videos on YouTube. Every single piece of information is a stepping stone to your success. Observe, learn and stay curious.

“What is a teacher? I’ll tell you: it isn’t someone who teaches something, but someone who inspires the student to give of her best in order to discover what she already knows.” – Paulo Coelho

5. Become hungry to fail

Sometimes you need to fail hard to rise to your highest potential. Failure brings not only experience but also a pain. This pain is a great way to motivate yourself and come up with better, more compelling ideas which allow you to improve.

I know you don’t want to fail. I get it. But only by making mistakes can you find out what works the best. Let’s stop seeing failure as this big scary monster we run away from. Often it is the best teacher which gives you experience and builds up your mental strength to endure more in life.
