Fans attending games at the Oakland Coliseum want to be as close to the stadium as possible. Here's a list of the 13 hotels and motels closest to the stadium. Most are within a 20 to a 40 minute walk.
Tiffany Baxter, Official Accidental Travel Writer Correspondent for San Diego, has flown up to Oakland for Raiders games countless times, and she's stayed at many hotels and motels close to the Oakland Coliseum.
"You can get amazing deals in Oakland," Tiffany says. "I love the Hilton and the Holiday Inn."
Tiffany thinks Oakland is too good a place to rush. She usually spends two nights in The Town when she flies up for Raider games, the night before the football game and the night after the football game.
"It is worth the experience," Tiffany says.
"I like to experience the city and party with friends. I don't like to be rushed, either. Why not take your time in a beautiful city?"

Chris, too, has made countless trips to the Town to attend Oakland Raider games. And she always stays at one place.
"My husband will only let me stay at the Oakland Airport Hilton," Chris says.
"They have a shuttle service to and from the games for US$6. My husband would let me stay at the Holiday Inn Express, too."
"My hubby is LAPD, and Oaktown is in the hood," Chris says.
"The Raider parties are at the Hilton so there you have it. Great security, too. All the cops eat breakfast at the Hilton too before their OT details and task forces."
Hilton's shuttle drops fans off at the Coliseum BART station before the game and picks them up at the same spot after the game.
From there is a short walk across the bridge to and from the Black Hole.
"All of the employees at the Hilton's front desk wear Raider T-shirts on the weekends the Raiders play," Chris says.
"It's the Raider Party Motel."
The Holiday Inn Express also accommodates a lot of Raiders fans.
"That's where the team has their dinners after the games, but they have a small bar, so everybody goes to the Hilton."

Twenty fans took part in the first trip to Oakland in 2014. There were 50 fans in the second first in 2015. Fully 75 fans will travel to the Golden State for the Denver Broncos game on 6 November. 2016.

"They are very accommodating and the sports bar/restaurant is top notch."

Before You Book

If you're driving to the game, make sure that the hotel or motel you book offers free parking.
Most of these properties include a full or Continental breakfast with the price of the room. Others provide free coffee. A few have mini-marts. If you want to eat in your room, make sure the hotel or motel you book has a refrigerator and a microwave.
