We were all treated to awesome and unbelievable footballing moments in the UEFA Champions League as well as the EPL.
In a quick summary, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich showed class. Dortmund with Pierre-Emerick Aubanmayang conveniently defeated Benfica 4-0 scoring a hat trick. Chelsea consolidated their position at the top of the EPL, winning 2 goals to 1 against West Ham on Monday and Manchester City lost the chance to go second on Wednesday, as they played a scoreless draw against Stoke City.
Manchester United couldn’t beat Rostov on Thursday as they drew 1 all and Lyon beat Roma 4-2 in the Europa cup.
Meanwhile, Arsenal, PSG, and Napoli fans expect their clubs to bounce back from their woeful performance during the week.
Arsenal will play Lincoln on Saturday in the FA, PSG plays Lorient on Sunday and Napoli plays Crotone also on Sunday. A win for these clubs will do a whole lot of good for their various coaches including Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery, and Maurizio Sarri.
