The quest for the first ever “The Voice of the Philippines” continues as the top-rating and Twitter-trending singing-reality shows stages another round of Live Shows for the members of each team this Sunday (Sept 8).
Two artists from the respective teams of Apl de Ap, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, at Lea Salonga will face off in the Live Shows this weekend. This time, the viewing public and the coaches have an equal say, with the combined percentages of the public votes and the coaches’ scores determining who among them will remain in the competition.
Fighting for their spot in Team Apl are Thor Dulay (“Lately”) and Penelope Matanguihan (“Superstar”), while Maki Ricafort (“Every Breath You Take”) and Morissette Amon (“What About Love”) will battle for Team Sarah.
Representing Team Bamboo are Lee Grane (“Losing My Religion”) and Paolo Onesa (“Skyfall”), and for Team Lea, Darryl Shy (“Balita”) and Mitoy (“Paano”).
Which among them deserve to get through to the next round of the competition, according to the viewing public and the coaches?
But before getting on the Live Show stage, the Top 16 artists will perform in a special jamming session this Saturday (Sept 7) where they perform the songs requested by fans and celebrities.

Matatanggalan ng tig-iisang miyembro ang teams ng coaches na sina Apl de Ap, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, at Lea Salonga sa patuloy na pagsasala sa artists sa top-rating at Twitter-trending singing-reality show na “The Voice of the Philippines” sa Live Shows ngayong Linggo (Sept 8).
Tig-dadalawang artists kada team ang maglalaban sa Live Show ngayong weekend. Sa paghuhusga sa kanila, pagsasamahin ang porsiyentong nakuha ng isang artist mula sa public votes at ang score na ibibigay ng kanyang coach. Dito malalaman kung kaninong boses ang patuloy na maririnig sa kumpetisyon at kung sino ang pauuwiin na.
Magtutunggali ngayong Linggo sina Thor Dulay (“Lately”) at si Penelope Matanguihan (“Superstar”) para sa Team Apl, habang sina Maki Ricafort (Every Breath You Take”) at Morissette Amon (“What About Love”) naman ang magtatapatan para sa Team Sarah.
