THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a rare night off from looking after baby George and headed to the red carpet for a glittering appearance at the Tusk Conservation Awards at the Royal Society in London.
Prince William, as patron of the charity, presented two awards during the ceremony, spoke passionately about the need to do more to save Africa's threatened species and revealed the couple have got their own "baby lion".
Kate, 31, showing no signs of any baby weight or sleepless nights, wowed a star-studded audience in a bespoke £2,000 shimmering silver sequinned floor-length Jenny Packham gown with drop waist teamed with £475 champagne Jimmy Choo platform sandals.
