Target style has just been doing it right in the last few years in this category. They have enlisted some great designers like Thomas O’brien and Missoni (do you remember how crazy it was when this launched and crashed their site??). And their Threshold collection is really fabulous. Now I am really picky about furniture quality and would not be running out and purchasing a sofa for my living room here but the accent pieces are great like this table and this pouf in our family room. So I wanted to share with you some of my recent target style crushes that are great additions and fairly neutral (except for my blue pops) that just about everyone can add to their current home. I mean at the end of the day most everyone just wants to accessorize and get it right for themselves, right? And the constant complaint I hear is “Yay, that’s beautiful but is it right for MY home?”. I’m hear to tell you that almost every piece below everyone can add and it will work.

I’m such an ikat fan. I love the colors and pattern of this shower curtain. This little basket weave pillow is beautiful. Again the pattern is bold but the colors are simple. The perfect piece to throw on a chair for an extra pop. I think everyone needs baskets. They are a great catch all and having a some natural with lots of texture really gives a sense of lux to a room. I would use this one on my ottoman, in the kitchen as a catch-all or even my table to hold fruit. You know me and my obsession with white ceramics and pottery! This napkin holder and cookie jar are fabulous! The cookie jar reminds me of my hobnail milk glass I love so much. Now how great is this flatware set??! In white and is reminiscent of old vintage enamelware that is so hard to find. These are great for outdoor entertaining too. Since I have to have blue and white accents almost everywhere, these napkins are just the right touch to my table.

Now for furniture accent pieces, I think each of these adds a touch of style and class. I adore these barstools and they have a industrial look that is so popular right now. Even though these chairs are meant for outside, I would use them in my breakfast room as captain chairs. Just 2 is all you need. I like every one else have totally been embracing the gold trend that has been going on for a while now. Though to me too much gold can be gaudy, I do like a few accents here and there like this side table. Oh how I have a ottoman/pouf problem! I mean I could have 4 in 1 room and be just fine with it. Oh wait. I do! Having a structure piece like this one with the nailheads is just gorgeous and then a fun patterned one like this pouf that your husband can put his feet on is fun and functional. 2 very important things in my design book!

So what do you think? Which pieces are you crushing on?
