Leading international law firm Ashurst is proud to announce the firm has been nominated for “Australian Law Firm of the Year” and “Indonesian Law Firm of the Year” at the Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific Awards.
The awards honour the work of national and international law firms across the Asia Pacific region on the basis of research for the recent edition of Chambers Asia Pacific. The awards are designed to recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence in key countries and reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.
The nomination follows Ashurst’s ranking in the Chambers Asia Pacific Guide in 30 practice areas in Australia, attaining the largest number of practice rankings of any firm in Australia for the second year running. Here the firm gained new or higher rankings in three practice areas and ranked in the elite Band 1 level in 12 practice areas.
In Asia, the firm was ranked across 35 practice areas. This included increasing its ranking in four practice areas across the region, including the Jakarta office moving up a ranking in its Banking & Finance practice.
In 2016 Ashurst Australia was named the “Australian Law Firm of the Year” at the Chambers Asia Pacific Awards.
The awards ceremony and dinner will be held at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore on Friday, March 24th 2017.
