The Indian action-thriller film Bang Bang! Features Hrithik Roshan and British beauty Katrina Kaif in lead roles, the official remake of Hollywood film Knight and Day was released on 2 October 2014. Indian most popular actor Hrithik Roshan and B-town beauties Kangna Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra played the lead roles while Vivek Oberoi made appearance as villain in the movie. The Bollywood Dabangg star came up with action film titled Kick which hit the cinema screen nationwide on 25 July 2014 and became the highest grossing film in Indian film industry while also broke several box office record in India. Directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala it is remake of Telugu film stars Salman Khan along with Sri-Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Rajkumar Hirani directorial 3 idiots is a comedy-drama movie which broke all opening records at box office and highest grossed movie in its opening weekend and topped the box office at that time which grossed 395 crore worldwide.
