In conjunction with its 2016 annual conference in Atlanta, the Young Lawyers Committee of the Forum on Air & Space Law is looking for young lawyers and law students for an informal get-together dinner on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7:00 pm. If you are interested in attending, please email Rachel Welford, co-chair of the Young Lawyers Committee, at rwelford@cozen.com by Sept. 6. The dinner will be organized by the Young Lawyers Committee, and attendees will assume their individual dinner costs.

The Forum on Air and Space Law Annual Conference will take place Sept. 15-16 at the Atlanta Buckhead Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

5th Circuit networking event

The Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) and the 5th Circuit are co-hosting a free event highlighting the importance of networking and diversity in the legal workplace on Sept. 8. This will be a great networking opportunity as there will be local attorneys speaking along with an open Q&A session. The event will be in Atlanta at Emory University School of Law. See the details.

Business Law events

The ABA Business Law Section is hosting substantive panels and networking events on Sept. 7 at five Boston-area law schools. “Pathways to a Successful Career in Business Law” will feature business lawyers from across the country discussing emerging business law topics. Each program will be followed by food, drinks, and networking. You may email Julia.passamani@americanbar.org with any questions.

Ms. JD Honors nominations

Ms. JD is honoring exceptional women and men making contributions to the advancement of women in the legal profession through Ms. JD Honors. The Ms. JD Honors reception will take place in connection with Ms. JD’s next annual conference at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law on March 3, 2017.
