Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) is an airline headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It is the flag carrier of Japan and its main hubs are Tokyo's Narita International Airport and Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport), members of the oneworld alliance.
JAL group operations include scheduled and non-scheduled international, domestic passengers and cargo services to 220 destinations in 40 countries worldwide, including codeshares. The group has a fleet of 209 aircraft (as of June 1st 2011). From Singapore, JAL has two daily flights operating to Japan Narita Airport and Haneda Airport.
JAL recently announced the new route from Tokyo (Japan) to Boston (USA) which will start operating from April 2012, providing more convenient connections between Asia and The United States of America. Singapore American School
A handful of parents established the Singapore American School (SAS) in 1956 in a private home with just 105 students to meet the educational needs of a burgeoning expatriate community. Today, SAS is an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school offering an American-based curriculum for preschool through grade 12. There are more than 3,800 students from more than 50 nations, and approximately 70% hold U.S. passports.
