I leased a 2013 SI sedan, last Wednesday. She's Dyno Blue. Had 151 miles driving off the lot and has been a blast thus far.
Got a dank deal at Honda's End of Year Sales Event, too. Residual will be thousands below KBB and paternal grandmother hooked me up with down payment. I've had the car 8 days and odometer is more than twelve hundred miles.
THANKS GRANDMA!
This was definitely the smartest option for me. My Mom drives a Crosstour, Honda Financial was pretty awesome to her when co-signing. It also will bump me to first tier financing if I choose to buy the car in 3 years. This is a DD and I drive to work and I'm going back to school in the Fall.
So I ripped it to redline almost 10 times and had one accidental late shift in the red zone driving it off the lot :eusa_clap:
I only go to VTEC when merging on the highway and the occasional bwaaAAA past a car that merely looks faster than mine with no traffic. I'm paying $200 a month on it and another $150 on Collision. Mom is covering the Liability.
Never thought I'd have a brand new car to call mine this young. I'm 19 and had a couple learner cars before.
We bought it from Saratoga Honda. Had a great buyers experience compared to more urban dealerships.
I was in college last semester and totaled a MKIV Jetta 1.8T on black ice. The result of this was dropping out for a full time job. I sell DirecTV.
If anyone is interested in that, I can get you an awesome deal. Just saying...
First car was a 1995 Accord V6. The brakes went out while I was driving on a temporary inspection. The front end ate the bumper of a Toyota Tacoma. That sucked, too. It was my project car, having just done body work to the front end with my buddy. I bought it for $800 and lost twice that in it.
The SI is stock, as of now. Not sure what to do. Gotta say, a 6 sec car is still an upgrade from my last ride. Plus I need my paycheck for other things...
Reppin' the 518... Albany, NY. Hence the username. Born and raised in the suburbs but would like to make it in NYC, eventually. See you around!
