Your chance to taste the best brandy from South Africa’s top producers. The event will showcase unique potstill brandies from more than 50 premium brands, offer educational masterclasses very hour, give you the chance to meet the Master Blenders and there will even be live entertainment by local supergroup Mi Casa. 5-8 Jun: Kamers vol Geskenke @ Castle of Good Hope – CPT
Experience this spectacular exhibition of local designer produce in the country’s oldest building. That’s right, Kamers is coming to Cape Town and they’ve set up shop in the Castle. This exhibition brings together the best local designers in South Africa and is a must for anyone who loves shopping for top notch, unique products while sipping some vino, snacking on yummy cuisine and listening to music. 7 Jun: Feast of Shiraz & Charcuterie at Hartenberg – CPT
Sample some of South Africa’s finest Shiraz paired with the best charcuterie (that’s a fancy word for cold meats, by the way), cheese and olives. Hartenberg winemaker Carl Schultz has invited a group of SA’s best to showcase their produce. In one word: Nom. There will also be various restaurants, bistros and cafes preparing food at the festival, so come hungry.

7 Jun: Extra Cold Music Concert – PTA
A music show produced by Timbaland?! This can only be awesome. The line-up has been hand-picked by the Grammy Award winning music legend and includes multiple SAMA winning Mi Casa, Spoek Mathambo, Black Coffee, Zakes Bantwini, DJ Clock with Beatenberg, and Reason. Fans will also be treated to a special collaboration between a South African artist and Timbaland. Ah yeah! It’s gonna be a massive party!

The MTV Africa Music Awards is heading to Durban for the very first time.
