Things can get precarious when there's profound family history included in a situation.

Regardless, Mob Wives star Karen Gravano tells E! News only that nothing would have kept her far from offering her regards and going to Angela "Huge Ang" Raiola's memorial service prior today. "The most vital thing I need to say is that I arrived to say farewell to my companion," she lets us know, including that she was never "banned" from being at the dedication service.

"Obviously, there is history there. In any case, I was never banned. It was never, 'You're not permitted.' It was about what might be the best timing and the most appropriate way," Gravano continues.

Big Ang, the 55-year-old niece of Salvatore Lombardi, otherwise known as Sally Dogs of the Genovese wrongdoing family, passed on Thursday after a long fight with growth, and a source told E! News Sunday that Gravano, along with co-star Brittany Fogarty, were advised "it's not a smart thought" to go to any of the services in light of their fathers' past collaboration with authorities.

(Karen is the daughter of Salvatore Gravano, otherwise called Sammy the Bull, a former underboss of the Gambino wrongdoing family who served as the right-hand man to notorious New York crowd leader John Gotti. Salvatore later became a government witness and cut down his boss.)

Gravano clarifies, "My circumstance isn't about my dad, it isn't about any other individual. It's about paying regards to my companion. I needed to say my farewells to Ang and pay admiration to her and her family and an armed force couldn't stop me.

"I was only glad to be there. Give people a chance to believe what they need to accept. I arrived and I exited holding her casket."

Gravano did not wind up going to Big Ang's wake, nonetheless, telling E! News, "I chose with the history it would be the best thought for me to do it all alone terms."

Family, companions and a number of Ang's Mob Wives' co-stars turned out to offer their regards at Basilica of Regina Pacis, a Catholic area church in Brooklyn, today, including Drita D'Avanzo, Carla Facciolo and Renee Graziano.

A rep for Big Ang tells E! News her coffin was left the church by her two closest companions, Celia and Lil Jen, trailed by Adam Gonzalez (a Mob Wives show producer and great companion to Ang), Jennifer Graziano (the show's maker), Karen, Drita, Carla and Renee.

"Ang's sister [Janine Detore] gave an astounding discourse," a source tells E! News. "It was extremely touching."

"Everyone was crying and everyone's heart is broken," says her rep. "While we all know Ang would need every one of us to be solid, it's so hard."

The season finale of Mob Wives will air March 10, and the get-together unique will take after on March 16.
