Hola Amigos!! Well, with the crazy wind and cold mornings, the water temp has shifted. It made for a slight dip in the fishing these last couple of days, but nothing too horrible!! It can only get better from here my friends!
Monday we had Laura and Pat Donahue along with Curt Miller and the Lucaccioni’s. They had fun with Alex and Jesus and caught a nice Dorado.
David and Will Munson fished aboard Tantrum for the day and released a Striped Marlin.
Cindy and Jeremy Muscio opted for a 1/2 day aboard RedRum. They fished along the inshore of the Pacific side and caught 2 Roosterfish and a couple of SkipJack.
The Douglas family fished aboard ReelRum for the day and also caught a Roosterfish.
The DeAndas were out fishing today too, I think they got into some Marlin, but they also fished Wednesday and I am missing that report, so sorry guys!! Let me know if you see this!
We also had Jim Bonfitto and his newlywed wife, Sarah, fish aboard one of our partner boats for the day. I believe they released a Marlin Because I saw the flags, but did not hear from them personally, so that might just be a fishing TALL tell.
Tuesday was not the best day all around, so I will start out with the best report of the day. Sheri and Chris Jackson and their friends were aboard El Nuevo for the second time. They found the Roosterfish “sweet spot” and caught 5 of those babies first thing in the morning. They also said they caught a Whale Shark, but I don’t know how much of that is true! LOL.
Amelia Olivas and Victor Vela (Happy Birthday Victor!!)fished aboard RumRunnin and caught a Jack Crevalle as did Michelle Pickett and her crew aboard Tantrum.
Patrick Penka and his crew fished aboard RedRum for a full day and they came home empty handed as did the Dippel’s who fished aboard the Marlin Queen. They were super nice guys though and still had a good time.
Robert Farrell and his family who fished on one of our partner boats, unfortunately, suffered the same fate.
Spencer and Carye Turner and Melissa and Richard Rogers fished on ReelRum and had an outstanding day in comparison, catching 2 Roosterfish.
Well, like I said folks, it can ONLY get better from here. June is supposed to be the month when all the fish come back in and the warmer water temps are here to stay, so here’s crossing our fingers that that is what happens over the next week!
