It’s a new season and spring means there is more in the air than just a change of weather – there are also plenty of exciting new perfumes to get your hands on. It’s time to ditch your heavy winter sprays in favor of something lighter and more floral. Take a look at our top picks.

Be Delicious City Blossom, DKNY

This limited edition perfume from DKNY’s ever popular Be Delicious range is a fabulous fresh fragrance. The new scent was inspired by the urban rooftop scene in New York, the go-to sanctuary for busy women across the city. There are three new smells to collect; the fruity Rooftop Peony, floral Urban Violet and fresh Empire Apple. Not to be missed by fans of the original.

Brit Rhythm for women, Burberry

The powdery floral fragrance fuses English lavender, orange blossom and deep vetiver for a heady mix of springtime smell. The pink bottle of course includes the textured signature pattern, making it instantly recognizable as a Burberry beauty. Chief creative officer for Burberry, Christopher Bailey, thinks this scent is perfect for the woman that has more to her than meets the eye. “The Brit Rhythm woman combines powerful femininity with a rock and roll edge,” he mused. The range offers an Eau de Toilette, Body Lotion, Body Wash, Deodorant Spray and Hair Mist. Why not treat yourself to the lot – or even better, get someone else to treat you!

Signorina Eleganza, Salvatore Ferragamo

This perfume not only smells divine but also looks absolutely gorgeous on your dressing table, thanks to its pretty bottle complete with the brand’s signature grosgrain Vara bow. This is another new scent that uses grapefruit, this time mixed with pear. It then fuses almond powder and golden osmanthus petals, before finishing with base notes of patchouli and white leather. Pretty and delicate – a must for perfume lovers.

Eau Tropicale, Sisley

This smell is inspired by the atmosphere of a tropical forest, and reminds us of sunshine and summer. There are exotic floral notes followed by zesty Bergamot and ginger. There are also hints of elegant Violet and rose. This is a fresh, floral scent that will instantly put you in a light, spring mood.

Calyx, Clinique

Clinique has rediscovered Calyx, which first hit shelves in 1986. The fresh fragrance is both floral and fruity, which makes it the perfect mix for spring time. The scent fuses crisp grapefruit and wet, dewy green leaf. Middle notes include freesia, rose and jasmine, in addition to bottom notes of oakmoss, orris and sandalwood. This is the ultimate spring smell; fresh and light.

Marc Jacob’s new limited edition Daisy and Carven’s L’eau De Toilette also hit the right notes this spring time and are worth checking out.
