MELBOURNE, Florida -- Commissioner Andy Anderson invites Brevard County
residents to join him for Breakfast in the Park being held from 8 - 11
a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Howard Futch Park, located at 2301 N. Highway A1A in
Indialantic.
Breakfast will be provided and served by Cub Scout Pack 772
from Palm Bay.
This breakfast is to thank residents for keeping Commissioner Anderson
in office for another four years. Anderson went unopposed in the
Republican primary and general election, making him the first Brevard
County Commissioner in at least 32 years to be elected without
opposition.
The breakfast will also serve as the kickoff for the third annual Coats
for Kids drive. This year, the District 5 office will only be collecting
new coats for school-age children, kindergarten through 12th grades.
Donated coats will be accepted at the breakfast.
