Free Zone Establishment (FZE) in Dubai Airport Freezone
Formed with a minimum of one shareholder and a maximum of 50, either individual (a person) or non-individual (a company). A minimum share capital of AED 1000/- is required. Each share should be in the denomination of AED 1000/-
Establishing Branch Office of an existing company in Dubai Airport Freezone

Each office is equipped with carpeting, wallpaper, false ceiling and window shades, and only the finest materials are used. A minimum space of 25 sqm is required to obtain a license and 4 employee visas are granted with every 50 sqm rented.
Light Industrial Units at Dubai Airport Freezone
High quality, thermally insulated, purpose-built units are available to rent on an annual basis at Dubai Airport Freezone. Tenants are allowed to choose between using their LIU as either, a warehouse for storage and distribution, or as a factory for assembly and light production. If required, multiple units can be used to suit individual requirements. Each LIU of approximately 350 sqm has ground and mezzanine floor offices and is conveniently located close to the airport’s apron.
Business Licensing at Dubai Airport Freezone
Investors planning to conduct their business activities within any Dubai free zone are required to establish their legal presence and obtain Dubai Business licence for the activities they propose to undertake. How to Register a Company in Dubai with DAFZA
Once you decide to set-up your company at DAFZA you need to submit the following in compliance with the rules and regulations:
Documents Required for Initial Dubai Company Formation
– Application Form
– Letter of Intent (summary of company profile at DAFZA)
– Profile of the company/business plan
– Company brochure (if available)
– Annual financial report or shareholder(s) 6 months bank statement
– Copy of the manager’s passport and CV
– Copy of shareholder(s) passport and CV
– Original (not a copy) bank reference letter (shareholders)
– No Objection letter for manager (if a resident of UAE and UAE employment visa-holder)
– No Objection letter from the relevant Dubai authority. For example, if your business is in the IT sector then you will need to get a no objection letter from the IT sector.
After obtaining initial approval the client will:
Pick an office space from our stunning selection that’s the most appropriate size and layout for your business requirements. Decide whether you’ll require our excellent value fit-out service for your office, or if you’ll be doing that independently. Then, once the office is finalized:
– Invoice is issued
– Payment must be submitted within two weeks
– Lease agreement is prepared
– Office keys may be collected.
After making the necessary selections regarding the office space the client can prepare the legal documents, or our licensing team can prepare the legal documents for FZE (Individuals Only)

– Notarized by a notary public
– Attested by UAE embassy (country of origin)
– Attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in UAE
When all the above is complete, your business license will then be issued along with the share capital certificate.

What is a Freezone?
A freezone is an area where business is conducted without the restrictions normally applied to foreign businesses, such as requiring a partner with UAE nationality, or corporate or income tax.
Do I need a UAE Partner to form a company?
One of the many advantages of setting up a company in DAFZA is that it allows 100% foreign ownership. You do not need a UAE Partner to form a company at DAFZA.

Applying for a Visa
How does one apply for a visa?
Simply login with your company’s Tas’heel username and password through Dubai Airport Freezone’s website and submit a request for visas. You can also submit a request via the DAFZA mobile app.
What are the required visa documents?
Initially no documents are required; the first stage is to submit the visa application online and forward a passport copy to the commercial operations by fax or e-mail (fax number is available on Tas’heel).
How long does it take for the visa to be issued?
Normally 3-4 working days. It is possible to expedite this to 1-2 working days in urgent cases.
