One client claimed that the services rendered by the company resulted to greater damage. In the complaint filed, the client stated that one early morning, his alarm when off but upon investigation there was nothing that could have potentially set off the alarm. Given that the client could not turn off the alarm, he called the company and a man was kind enough to walk him through the process of disabling the alarm system. He was advised to unplug the battery and the transformer. He informed the agent that he noticed the system’s transformer has changed from brown to gray. He was told that an American Guardian technician will be dispatched to his home to look into the issue. However, when the client made a follow up call given there were no further assistance from the company, the phone call was disconnected. When he called again, the man on the other line rudely attended to his call and even hung up on him. The client decided to file the complaint as the company has not fixed the problem and had not made an effort to return his calls.
Upon the filing of the complaint, the company made all necessary efforts to remedy the issue. A technician was dispatched to the area to personally check on the system. Given this response, BBB decided to close the case.
