New DNA evidence allegedly shows that a 31-year-old singer could be the late Michael Jackson’s son.
Brandon Howard doesn’t just look, speak and sing exactly like the King of Pop, he may actually be his offspring.
E! Online reports that Howard’s mother, gospel singer Miki “Billy” Howard, knew Jackson in the early ‘80s. Coincidence or not, Brandon was born in 1982, the same year Jackson’s hit “Billie Jean” was released. The legendary chorus goes, “Billie Jean is not my lover, she’s just a girl who claims that I am the one, but the kid is not my son.” Could the song be about an actual love child?
Howard recently submitted to a DNA test to confirm that Jackson is his father. Using DNA obtained from an old dental impression of the singer’s, results showed there is a 99.9 percent chance that Jackson is indeed Howard’s father.
Howard posted a statement on his Facebook page saying he didn’t start up the rumor mill and never claimed to be Jackson’s child.
“I’m definitely not suing the estate; I’ve been taken care of very well,” Howard said, in a voice sounding eerily like Jackson’s. “Also, I make my own cash, OK?”
A source told the New York Daily News that Joe Jackson, Michael’s father, is actually Howard’s father.
