Senior Manager, Social Media

We are seeking a social media expert with proven track record of developing and managing appropriate channels to grow audience, engagement and sharing.  Insights and vision to identify, engage and build relationships with targeted social media influentials and communities to add value and grow brand awareness. Demonstrated and proven capability of growing a loyal following of customers, fans and advocates to fuel word of mouth marketing efforts to grow new business. The ability to develop and implement global strategy, execute locally and coordinate execution in international markets by collaborating with cross-functional internal teams and agencies to dramatically improve global footprint and influence. Experience with using social media analytics and tools to measure and optimize performance and provide actionable insight.

Core requirements for the role include:

Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media and digital initiatives, including developing and managing viral marketing campaigns, creating and supervising high-profile channel accounts, and integrating interactive media into overall business strategy.

Lead and collaborate with global cross-functional teams, both internal and agencies, to proactively develop an orchestrate integrated strategies, tactics, content calendars, social campaigns to support marketing programs and reactive opportunities to build audience and engagement in owned social channels, influential relationships and online communities.

Monitor and analyze social media channels and trends and their impact on the company brand; collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and refine best practices and programs to improve results.

Strong and stylish writing, with the ability to communicate in a variety of different and authentic voices appropriate for each core audience and channel, frequently posting new content to the Internet; developing and/or revising text and content for other venues including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, online communities, blogs, etc. Must demonstrate the ability to write professionally for varied audiences and consistently meet tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and prior blogging/Internet experience.

Demonstrated experience tying social media tactics and impact to SEO, such as key words and meta tags is preferred.

Oversee and contribute to online community management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to interact with customers and fans in real-time on various web platforms; posting engaging and value add content, sparking discussion on various social channels, offering solutions and mediating conversations, a knack for research and willingness to work during nonstandard business hours.

Track, analyze, optimize and report on social media programs to help meet objectives.  Experience with social media tools such as SimplyMeasured, Facebook Insights, Sysomos, HootSuite, Klout, etc. preferred.

Gather, discern and prioritize social media industry at both a global and country level (Germany, Japan, etc.) and global customer insights and trends; proactively share insights and best practices to evangelize and educate internal teams and agencies.

Degree in communications, marketing or a related field; 3-5+ years of marketing or public relations experience including demonsratable social media and networking experience; and a strong familiarity with online marketing best practices.

Active and engaged participant in social media (include links)

Personal Klout score of 40+ preferred.
