Our journey as AWS technology partner has been nothing short of great
Last week, a few of us from the 3scale team headed to Las Vegas to attend AWS reInvent, the annual gathering of the global Amazon Web Services community and also one of the largest events in the tech conference circuit. 3scale was there both as a sponsor and as an official technology partner in the AWS Partner Network.
We recently started our journey as an AWS partner with the release of our AMI on the AWS Marketplace, and the experience has been nothing short of great. We see a large part of our customers already on board the AWS train, and they are loving that it is easier than ever to set up API gateway instances to manage their APIs.

Amazon really delivered an amazing event, introducing countless new products that our team is already excited to try, such as the new EC2 Container Service to streamline the process of launching Docker-based applications. There were plenty of informative and practical technical sessions and overall it was very well organized – a challenge for sure, given a headcount of over 13,000 attendees!
We are also very excited about our “better together” offer with Nginx, who were also sponsoring the event. Special shoutout to our customers
We were thrilled to see a couple of customers on stage at AWS reInvent! Omnifone‘s co-founder Phil Sant appeared in nothing less than the opening keynote of the second day with AWS CTO Werner Vogels. And Univeristy of Notre Dame presented in one of the sessions.
We had a great time and connected with many people working on interesting API products who stopped by our booth (and got some of our much sought-after API Ninja swag as reward!).
We are already looking forward to next year’s reInvent. In the mean time, we will surely bring you more AWS-related news, as we plan to keep investing in this great ecosystem.
