SANTA MONICA, CA – A business jet burst into flames after it crashed into a hanger at the Santa Monica Airport in California.

An FAA spokesman says the jet ran off the right side of the runway when it landed. The twin engine Cessna Citation carries between seven and nine passengers, and while authorities still aren’t sure exactly how many people were on board. They say no one survived.

In fact the flames were so hot crews had to be kept out of the hanger for more than two hours before they could try to tackle the fire.

So now investigators are stepping in to find out what went wrong; because you don’t have to be an aviation expert to see that something went terribly wrong!
