The fastest-growing 5k obstacle series is coming to Austin’s COTA Salt on Saturday, September 27,2014. ROC Race is a one of a kind event where participants experience 12 larger-than-life epic obstacles strategically placed along a 5k course. Dodge wrecking balls above a pool of water, take on the game show inspired Jump Balls, try your luck at the brand new Sweeper, and slide down the World’s Largest Inflatable Water Slide to cross the ultimate finish line!
ROC Race is proud to continue its partnership with Challenged Athletes Foundation, a charitable organization with the mission of providing opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. CAF believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence, and enhances quality of life. A portion of each ROC Race registration will be donated to CAF, as well as a percentage of merchandise sales.
Austin is ROC Race’s second to last stop on its 16-city 2014 Epic Tour. Over 100,000 ROC Stars have already signed up to take on the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge this year nationwide, which kicked off in Houston earlier this year.
