It’s Fair season! The Tennessee State Fair is September 6-15 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. This is the 107th TN State Fair. 107! And there’s so much to see and do. A craft beer festival (stay tuned for that one!), Traditional Championship Wrestling, a Nashville Rollergirls roller derby bout, The Flying Houndz Frizbee Trick Dog Show, Fairest of the Fair Pageant, Hedrick’s Racing Pigs (yeah, racing pigs), Kenya Safari Acrobats, Curly the Kid and Colonel Phil Good (a Western comedy show), Ice Cream Eating Contest, Mr. Bond science guy demonstration, Volunteer Village with free pony rides, barnyard animals, and craftmaking, McDonald’s Kids’ Country fun zone, Tennessee Craft Demonstrators, live music (of course!), carnival rides, celebrity cow milking (yes, that’s right, celebrity cow milking), cornhole, karaoke, livestock shows, and MORE! Really, that’s not all. There’s a lot to do – whether you like to eat cotton candy and ride the ferris wheel or learn about farm animals and drink beer – the Tennessee State Fair has it all. Good thing it lasts for 10 days.
