LATEST SINGLE “7” HITS TOP 15 AT ALTERNATIVE RADIO
January 9, 2017 – Hollywood, CA – Today, Catfish and the Bottlemen announce that they will join Green Day on their upcoming summer tour as direct support. Tickets are on sale this Friday, January 13. The tour kicks off on August 1 in Seattle and spans North America throughout August and September. Full routing is below and further details are available on the band’s website HERE.
As part of the run, the tour will also include shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Dates and on-sale information for those shows will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The BRIT Award-winning UK band are no strangers to shows of this size – last year, they performed main stage sets at festivals in the US including Austin City Limits and Governors Ball, as well as numerous sold-out headline shows across the country. Overseas, they became festival headliners and played their largest headline tour to date, performing to over 60,000 fans and culminating in a sold-out show at London’s SSE Arena Wembley.
Catfish and the Bottlemen’s sophomore album The Ride was released less than a year ago and is certified Gold in the UK (get the album HERE). Their newest single “7” is continuing its steady climb into the top 15 at Alternative radio. This tour announcement also follows the exciting news that the band’s debut The Balcony is now certified Platinum in the UK.
