DAYLIGHT Beach Club debuted 2013 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas
as the first-of-its-kind revolutionary open-air entertainment and
nightlife destination. The stylish, unprecedented space revolutionized
the daylife and entertainment scene by combining the most sought-after
DJ’s–Skrillex, Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, Baauer and Nicky Romero, among others–with a specifically designed 5,000- capacity venue featuring
a luxurious 4,400-square-foot pool, a 1,400-square-foot elevated stage
with un-obstructed sightlines, daybeds, 23 private VIP cabanas, two
private ultra VIP bungalows with private dipping pools, a deck area with
50 daybeds, top of the line LED screens, 25 u-shaped banquets with
plush fabric, as well as signature cocktails and cuisine. A departure
from traditional Vegas pool parties, DAYLIGHT became the ultimate outdoor destination under the sun or stars of Las Vegas. DAYLIGHT
added two new VIP pools last summer, including a 448-square-foot pool
to service the north side cabanas and a 245-square-foot pool to service
the south-west side cabanas.  In addition to the day parties to which
Vegas goers have become accustomed, the beach club recently began
hosting “Sundown,” a culmination of the best of underground house music
with one of the most compelling natural occasions on the planet - the
moment the sun sets behind the horizon and the day gives way to the
night. Every Sunday, some of the most revered alternative DJs will take the stage at DAYLIGHT precisely as the sun is setting, crafting a harmoniously visual experience.

Chicago, IL rock band EMPIRES is currently touring in support of their critically acclaimed major label debut album, ORPHAN (released September 23, 2014 on Island Records). Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Angel Olsen, War on Drugs), ORPHAN
is a collection of songs immersed in classic post punk and indie rock
‘n’ roll circa 1989-1991, exploring the sonic adventurers and emotional
heft of artists such as Roxy Music, Wire, and Nick Cave & The Bad
Seeds. Born out of singer Sean Van Vleet’s fascination with contemporary popcraft, songs like “Please Don’t Tell My Lover” and the night-driving “How Good Does It Feel” see the quartet adopting time-honored romantic idioms, both musical and lyrical, to mask deeper and darker personal truths. Rolling Stone proclaimed the band as, “sharp, creative and bringing a commendable freshness to the sometimes drearily derivative world of contemporary rock, Empires are a remarkably good rock 'n’ roll band” (Dave DiMartino, 6/19/14). Ryan Bray from Consequence of Sound noted, “their jones for big, powerful pop rock is on full display here” when reviewing ORPHAN and added, “brick by musical brick, Empires are steadily evolving into the pop rock powerhouse that they evidently have the makeup to be. If the band continue to smartly and steadily branch out like they do on Orphan, they could soon be taking to the bigger stages and venues that the record’s songs so eagerly court” (9/21/14). Additionally, Jon Chattman from the Huffington Post described the band as having “such a distinct sound I don’t know whether to tell you they sound like The National meets [insert alt rock band here] or simply just say it’s quality alt/indie-rock blended with subtle 1980s tones. Let’s go with the latter.” (5/5/14) Last year, EMPIRES—-Sean Van Vleet (vocals), Tom Conrad (guitar), Max Steger (guitar) and Mike Robinson
(drums)–completed nationwide tours with Margot & The Nuclear So
and So’s as well as The Chain Gang of 1974. The band also performed at a
number of festivals in 2014 including SXSW, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, LouFest, Summerfest, Hangout and BottleRock, among others. Already confirmed for this year are appearances at the Big Guava Music Festival in Tampa, the Forecastle Festival in Louisville and the 80/35 Music Festival in Des Moines. EMPIRES also made their national television debut in 2014 when they performed “How Good Does It Feel” on the Late Show with David Letterman in June; click here to check out the performance. In an era where unexpected ingredients thrive, MAKO offers a truly unique experience. Before an introduction was made, the two budding artists, Logan Light and Alex Seaver, spent their early life progressing musically in radically different worlds.Alex attended The Juilliard School on full scholarship as musician and played with some of the world’s elite classical artists in the most storied of venues. Meanwhile, Logan was quietly mastering the art of DJing and within only a few years, began opening for some of dance music’s biggest international acts, including Tiesto and Avicii, and major appearances, including Lollapalooza.  The group’s first release “Beam” quickly circulated on blogs and YouTube, logging more than 2.5 million views to date. The track was featured on SiriusXM’s Beta Test Tuesday which then prompted them to proclaimMAKO is “the next big thing.” Since then, MAKO has found themselves in studio with some of dance music’s top artists: Avicii, Sander Van Doorn, R3hab, DubVision, Heather Bright, Le Castle Vania and many others. They recently released their new track “I Won’t Let You Walk Away” with Island Records recording artist Madison Beer on February 24(https://youtu.be/TmEOX2kCSzw).

STS9–the instrumental electronic rock band hailed as “a musical force to be reckoned with” by Wesley Hodges of JAMBANDS.COM (11/6/14)-started the new year with a four-night takeover of the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO that included a special New Year’s Day charity dinner event benefitting Conscious Alliance. On January 1, 2015 from the floor of the legendary venue, STS9-Hunter Brown (guitar/sequences), Jeffree Lerner (percussion), David Phipps (keyboards/synths), Zach Velmer(drums) and Alana Rocklin (bass)-performed a completely improvised set unlike
any other in their history. The quintet weaved through new, unreleased
tracks and reinvented takes on fan favorites in one fearless stream of
consciousness; a set of music now being touted as one of the finest STS9 performances to date. The band recently made this memorable evening available for all to experience exclusively via BitTorrent Bundle. ONE / ONE: Live from The Fillmore Auditorium - Denver, CO (released March 9) is a digital collection spanning 365 days of STS9. Fans who purchase the ONE / ONE
Bundle receive the remastered, multi-track recording of this all-improv
set as well as unlock recordings of every 2014 STS9 show-50 live

bring their visually stunning show to various U.S. festivals again this spring and summer.

THE WHO

Friday, May 22 @ Boardwalk Hall (Atlantic City, NJ)

Celebrating their 50-year legacy, THE WHO are bringing their “THE WHO HITS 50!” tour to North America throughout 2015. “THE WHO HITS 50!” tour-presented by AEG Live-will also include special guests: 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. “THE WHO HITS 50!” tour explosively kicked off in Glasgow, Scotland (11-30-14) to rave reviews and a set list that featured a wide range of songs (“Substitute,” “The Seeker,” “Join Together,” “Squeeze Box,” and “Magic Bus,” along with “The
Kids Are Alright,” “I Can See For Miles,” “Who Are You,” “Behind Blue
Eyes,” “You Better You Bet,” “Baba O'Riley,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” and “Pinball Wizard,” among others) from one of rock’s most legendary and defining bands. The classic songs fans can expect to hear on “THE WHO HITS 50!” tour appear on the band’s recently released THE WHO HITS 50! collection. Released October 27 on Geffen/Universal Music Enterprises (UMe), this definitive collection of THE WHO’s greatest tracks-from their very first recordings as The High Numbers right up to the present day with the brand new track “Be Lucky”-is being released to coincide with the band’s 50th anniversary tour. THE WHO
have sold over 100 million records since forming in 1964; they brought
together four different personalities and in effect produced a musical
hurricane. Each of them was a pioneer. Wildman drummer Keith Moon beat his kit with a chaotic elegance; stoic bassist John Entwistle held down the center with the melodic virtuosity of a solo guitarist; raging intellectual Pete Townshend punctuated the epic universality of his songs with the windmill slamming of his fingers across his guitar strings; and Roger Daltrey
roared above it all with an impossibly virile macho swagger. They
exploded conventional rhythm and blues structures, challenged pop music
conventions, and redefined what was possible on stage, in the recording
studio, and on vinyl. As they enter their 50th year, the band is still going strong, winning rave reviews for their performances of QUADROPHENIA in 2013.
