There have been some crazy deals at Toys R Us this summer! The kids and I have been there a handful of times, and I've watched--and shopped--with interest as the prices have continued to drop. On Friday afternoon, Isaac and I were in Alpharetta and decided to stop in the Toys R Us there on our way home. After we played the claw machine there (our closest store doesn't have one, boo!), we set off to look around. I couldn't help but notice that the store's signage read that there was an EXTRA 95 percent off of clearance merchandise--but I figured there wouldn't be anything that great left. I love it when I am wrong about such things!

Check out our shoebox haul--and you won't believe the prices!

(Disclaimer: I noticed that when I scanned some items to check the prices, they were coming up at only 90 percent off. I asked the checkout guy about this, and he told me that corporate had decided to offer only 90 percent off the lowest clearance price that day--but this was after the store already had put up its 95-percent-off signage. He told me that he would honor the advertised deal of 95 percent off, though. YAY!)

Three Little Uglys red plush: .40 each

Jetsons Elroy doll: .20

Swampy "Where's My Water?" alligator clip: .05

Yellow Little Uglys plush: .40

Farmville Animal Games: These animals are little carrying cases that zip open to reveal a card game inside. The Rockstar Cow Pouch comes with Old Maid, and the Disco Dancing Sheep Pouch comes with Memory. Here is a better photo from the Internets:

I got a cow and three sheep for only .35 each! Yipppeeee!

Next up ... three little NASCAR figurines to put together (they are kind of like Lego figures): .45 for all three ... or .15 each

And ... two Nitro Mites mini motorcycle packets: .14 for both (That's a whopping .07 each, folks!)

These magnets were only .05 each. I bought all they had--35--for $1.75. Not bad!

The little mini animal erasers (dinosaurs in eggs and koala bears, I think) were only .03 each. I got 19 of them for a whopping .57. And these One Direction jumbo erasers were .07 each.

Some random girly finds: Two Cody Simpson bracelets (.05 each), charm bracelet and extra charm (.30 and .35 for each set--the register rang these up with different prices--will put a bracelet and charm pack together), mini set of crayons (.03), Cutie Pops bracelet kit with ice cream charms (.30) and flip flop locker magnets (.15)

And last, but not least: These Crayola Doodle Scents markers. I actually had just bought some at our local Toys R Us the day before, but this store had a better selection and price! I bought 50 for only .02 each! Whooo-hooooo!

I spent less than $10 (including tax) for all of these great shoebox items! Not bad for an impromptu stop on a Friday afternoon, huh? Thanks, Toys R Us, for having a great clearance sale, and thank You, Lord, for letting us come across it! I love thinking about the kids who will receive these items--and I sure hope they enjoy them!
