Chrysler Canada and Chrysler de Mexico both reported record breaking sales for the month of November. Here are some highlights from both organizations.
Chrysler de Mexico Highlights:
A total of 9,997 units sold, a record for the year.
Best November in two years for the Ram Truck brand with sales up 14 percent.
Jeep Wrangler sales increase of 17 percent.
Chrysler 200 sales up 48 percent giving it it’s best month since it launched.
“November marked our best sales month of the year, Chrysler, Ram and FIAT brands posted double digit sales growth. FIAT brand marked its best sales month ever, our products raise the bar in their segment, and the customers recognize it. This month Jeep brand reported very good sales results due to Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler; the new Jeep Cherokee is starting to arrive to our dealerships, this product has had positive acceptance among people around the world,” commented Bruno Cattori, President & CEO of Chrysler de Mexico.
Chrysler Canada Highlights:
November marked the 48th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases for Chrysler Canada. This is the longest streak in the company’s history.
Total units sold of 19,206 and a 13 percent increase over last year.
Dodge Dart set an all-time monthly sales record.
According to Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Canada. “The launch of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee boosted our November sales to the highest since 2001. 2013 is shaping up to be a great year for us as we have gained market share and will achieve our highest annual sales in over a decade. In its first month of availability, 1,285 Jeep Cherokee SUVs were sold and there’s plenty of upside moving forward as consumers are grabbing these up faster than we can unload them onto our dealership lots.”
