The two biggest club in Ghana, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts were not ranked among the top 500 Clubs in the World in the year 2014.
The ranking which was released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFHHS) did not have Ghana’s two most glamorous Clubs ranked among the best Clubs in the World.
Their absence was due to the current poor showing on the African continent.
Both Clubs however failed to make the top 10 Clubs in Africa having failed to make a mark on the continental scene.
The rankings released on Wednesday saw current European Champions Real Madrid lead the chart with accumulated points of 38,100 followed by German giants Bayern Munich. Spanish sides Club Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona and Colombian Champions Club Atlético Nacional complete the top five Clubs in the World.

Both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have failed to glitter in Africa for the past nine-ten seasons after making history as the only clubs from the same country to have featured in the finals of any CAF Competition when the two played in the finals of the 2004 CAF Confederations Cup.
Hearts have failed to redeem their image in Africa since winning the CAF Champions League in 2000 with Kotoko failing to get past the second round of the CAF Champions League in their last three appearances at the competition.
