Will the Lincoln brand, which is owned by Ford Motor Company, try another comeback of its luxury pickup truck model 2016 Lincoln Mark LT? According to some unofficial information, it will happen at the end of 2015. Then Lincoln supposed to represent the third generation of this model, and so once again tries to impose itself in the luxury class pickup models. Lincoln brand was first offered Mark LT pickup, 2005. In just one year, this model has sold in more than 10,000 copies. It inherited the Lincoln Blackwood pickup model, which was a complete failure. The model was based on the legendary Ford F-150 model. Unlike it, Lincoln Mark LT was a model with more luxury-oriented cabin. It used the same engine as the F-150 model, the 5.4-liter Triton V8 with 300 horsepower.

The initial success encouraged the company, and that was continued production of this model. However, in 2008, Ford offered the 2009 F-150 Platinum model, which had the same level of equipment as well as Mark LT pickup. Based upon the twelfth generation F-150, the all-new Mark LT shared its trim with the F-150 Platinum.
