Henrik Fisker is the guy who designed the Tesla sedan, Astin Martin V8 Vantage, and BMW V8, and then went off to create his own company and build the Fisker Karma. The Fisker Karma revealed on 14 January 2008 as a plug-in hybrid luxury sports sedan.

Green but not ugly is the concept of this car. Fisker says, “There’s no rule written anywhere that a green car has to be ugly, or small, or uncomfortable. We have so much power, we don’t need to make the car small. We want to emphasize the fact that an environmental car can look sexy.”

Like the vaunted 2011 Chevrolet Volt’s technology but The Fisker Karma far sleeker. This plug-in series hybrid using electric power to turn the wheels. This car is more practical than a two-seat sport car because Fisker Karma has four doors. With a 0-60-mph time of less than 6 seconds, this car still fast. If you look at this car, it looks like an exotic – both inside and out. It’s kind of a cross between a Jaguar and a Ferrari.

They used ‘Eco-Chic” interior, which uses no animal products and features reclaimed wood from sunken logs, reclaimed forest-fire timber, and renewable resources like bamboo.

As expected, Fisker Karma has all the bells and whistles of high-technology cars, including solar roof that will be run in a cold car and the battery topped off. But the cool part is where the speaker usually exhausts will done. From the speaker that you can come some engine sounds, including that of the jet engine. For me, pulling up to stop signs sound like you have a jet under the hood does not mean you have to test the 0-60 times. Display cars, combined with sound, which most threaten the driver.

The only problem is this puppy is $ 80,000. However, Russell Datz – Fisker spokesman told that 1,400 people have ordered a Karma. Anyone placing an order now will have to wait until the second half of 2010 to drive their own Karma.
