Mason, Ohio - Imagine you're an 11 or 12-year old kid, playing in a local Level 6 Midwest tournament, and Roger Federer shows up to watch you play. Well, that's exactly what happened at the Five Seasons Sport Club here in Ohio the other day when Roger Federer had a spare hour. He was visiting the blue to watch his agent Tony Godsick's son play in the tournament.
This caused quite a stir as you can imagine as the greatest tennis player of all time casually made his way through the private club. The novice level tournament definitely received a boost of enthusiasm, energy, and inspiration with Federer's presence. Think of the kids and how they perceived it and what they will take away from his visit. It's like Tiger Woods going and visiting a local golf course and just walking up to the driving range or putting green to watch the kids have fun. Really cool stuff from Fed, he never ceases to amaze.
