You’re probably thinking “what on earth is this?” While we can’t blame you, there is some precedence set here, as the “King Cake Baby” featured above has been a staple at New Orleans Pelicans games during the Mardi Gras season when the King Cake dessert is consumed by the masses.

Fans voted on the team’s website to determine the franchise’s new name, with the three finalist options being “Baby Cakes,” “Night Owls” and “Tailgators.”
