John Choi earned his Ph.D in information science from University of South Carolina, and has been teaching computers at Sangmyung University since 1991. While he was teaching computers, he established an enterprise, MarkAny, with his students in his lab in 1999. Based on Watermarking and DRM (Digital Right Management) technologies, Dr. Choi has successfully developed and provided solutions: internal security product, forgery prevention system, e-book platform, audio watermark, video watermark and digital fingerprinting. MarkAny’s audio watermarking technology is being employed by global music distributors including Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, Warner Bros., etc. for music pre-release. MarkAny has provided document security solutions to more than 450 sites in the world. Because of his career in the development of copyright protection technologies, DRM and Watermarking, he is leading a national R&D project of developing 3D content copyright protection system and technology in which four major Korea research organizations including KAIST, Sangmyung University, MarkAny and Chung-Ang University participate.

Ian Ferguson is a lead engineer at Formlabs where he designs high resolution desktop 3D printers for professional engineers, designers, and makers. In that time Formlabs has had a three-million dollar Kickstarter campaign, was featured in a Netflix documentary, and learned what it takes to build a precision machine and ship it to customers. Jonathan Jaglom

Jonathan Jaglom is the chief executive officer with MakerBot, a subsidiary of Stratasys Ltd., and a global leader in the desktop 3D printing industry. At MakerBot, Jonathan oversees the corporate direction and strategy for MakerBot’s global operations including sales, marketing, technology and products, with a focus on strategy, leadership, innovation and customers. Jonathan has been in the 3D printing industry for the majority of his career and prior to his role with MakerBot, spent ten years with MakerBot’s parent company Stratasys as general manager of Stratasys Asia Pacific and Japan and in several roles within Objet, which also merged with Stratasys in 2012. He was appointed chief executive officer of MakerBot in February 2015. While at Stratasys APJ, Jonathan managed the overall operation pertaining to Stratasys in Asia, including strategy and growth, reporting directly to the CEO. His key objective while at Stratasys APJ was to lead a successful distribution model with more than 50 channel partners in 15+ countries and to ensure a leading and sustainable growth of the 3D printing business in the region. Under his leadership, the company’s business expanded significantly, laying the foundation and solidifying an infrastructure to support further growth. During his tenure, sub-regional entities were set up in Singapore, Korea, Beijing and India to capture the fast-growing opportunities. He also led several successful acquisitions in the region, which fueled revenue growth and led an overall average year-over-year increase of more than 50 percent. Jonathan started his career at Objet in 2005 as the regional manager of East Europe and also was vice president of Global Sales Operations, a role in which he led the global channel enablement efforts, setting up a channel development structure and succeeding in ramping up more than 250 channel partners worldwide after the merger between Stratasys and Objet. In his other capacities as business manager of Customer Support (2009 – 2010), marketing director for Europe (2007 – 2008) and territory manager of Eastern Europe (2005 – 2007), Jonathan played an important role in formulating strategic alliances and setting up a 3D printing ecosystem in Europe. As a Design Studio Instructor at Cornell Mr. Kushner’s interest in teaching was nourished and he continues to remain close to academia. He lectures often to various agencies, institutions and organizations on a range of topics and has been well published in professional journals as well as TV, video, internet and print media. He is consistently invited to serve as juror and guest speaker at many universities. He has held teaching positions at Pratt University in their Graduate School of Architecture, and as an adjunct Professor at NJIT and NYIT. Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is a large private university in Upstate New York that is home to a wide array of additive manufacturing technologies. As a staff engineer at RIT, Mr. Walluk has been involved in the design, build, test, and use of additive manufacturing processes including direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) and laser engineered net shaping (LENS). Mr. Walluk has been working in the areas of sustainability and sustainment at RIT since 2007. His areas of active research include: sustainable production, product remanufacturing, fuel cell systems, building and manufacturing energy systems, and asset health management. His project work includes collaborations in product and process design with many companies, and in technology development and deployment with organizations supporting Department of Defense ground, sea, and air systems. Prior to RIT, Mr. Walluk spent years in product development and testing at General Dynamics, and also has experience in advanced product research and design at United Technologies.

Terry Wohlers is the founder, principal consultant, and president of Wohlers Associates, Inc., an independent consulting firm that was launched 29 years ago. Wohlers and his team have provided consulting assistance to more than 240 organizations in 24 countries, as well as to 150+ companies in the investment community. He has authored 400 books, articles, and technical papers and has given more than 125 keynote presentations on five continents. Wohlers has twice served as a featured speaker at events held at the U.S. White House. He has appeared on many television and radio news programs, including NPR, CBS Radio News, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox Business, Australia’s Sky News, and China’s CCTV. For the past 20 years, Wohlers has been a principal author of the Wohlers Report, an annual worldwide publication focused on additive manufacturing and 3D printing. A successful entrepreneur, James Wolff has been involved with many startups which are pushing the boundaries of technology forward. James is the C.E.O. of D-Shape Enterprises, a global company producing the mega scale concrete 3D printer systems for construction, infrastructure, and defense applications. James is also the C.E.O. of Body By Print Holdings L.L.C., developing a 3D printing system using 3D printing sustainable fabrics for the retail, commercial, institutional, and military sectors, promising to make obsolete traditional laundry paradigms. James is also the co-founder of Deep Space Industries, which is developing advanced cubesat technology to produce Bit-coin nodes in orbit to beam down the block-chain across the globe without necessitating existing internet service, and is developing advanced 3D printer technologies for space colonization and asteroid mining.

Yang Yihu is President and Chief Executive Officer of ESUN, the leader in PLA and 3D printing material. From 1988 to 1997, he worked for the industrial management in Hubei Provincial Petrochemical Industrial Department. Since 2002 he has been responsible for 10,000 ton/Y of PLA production project, which was approved as a key project of Strategic Emerging Industrial Plan by the Chinese National Development and Reform Commission. Yang Yihu is responsible for 25 international and domestic patents as one of main inventors. He has led ESUN in research and production of 3D material since 2007. He is also Vice Chairman of the degradable professional committee of Chinese Plastic Industrial Association.and Chairman of the low carbon bio-plastic industrial innovation alliance. He holds an MBA degree from Wuhan University.

Tyler Benster

As a High Tech Evangelist, Tyler lives and breathes all things technology. He works with startups and the Fortune 100 alike to launch new initiatives in 3D printing. He is a contributing writer and researcher to Wohlers Report, the annual “bible” of additive manufacturing and has emceed more than ten Inside 3D printing and RoboUniverse conferences across eight countries. He also serves as a General Partner at Asimov Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on 3D printing and robotics. Tyler joined the Rising Media team in 2013 as Event Consultant for Inside 3D Printing. Tyler received a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Economics at Brown University and currently resides in Seattle.

Bunny Ellerin is a senior healthcare executive who is passionate about driving change in our current system. Hod Lipson

Hod Lipson is a professor of engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and a co-author of the award-winning bestseller “Fabricated: The New World of 3D printing”. His work on self-aware and self-replicating robots, food printing, and bio-printing has received widespread media coverage including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Time, CNN, and the National Public Radio. Lipson has co-authored over 250 technical papers and speaks frequently at high-profile venues such as TED and the US National Academies. Stewart curates the Inside 3D Printing conference and oversees the programs for RoboUniverse and Virtual Reality Summit. Previously, he played a leadership role in running the Search Engine Strategies (SES) trade shows as part of the content team at Incisive Media. Prior to that, Stewart worked with Jupitermedia and was responsible for launching emerging technology events such as Nanotech Planet, Plug.IN, Game Market Watch, Enterprise Linux Forum, and Digital Rights Management (DRM) Strategies.
