i've been browsing a while through this forum because I have the same problem like many others here: Socket error #11004

As far as I can see this is not a problem with the internet connection but with the way Feedreader gets the internet acces! And I'm at the office inside a protected network.
But for instance FeedDemon is installed on the same machine and it gets the feeds without any problems. ("Well use that program then" you'll say....I would, but feedreader has some specific feature FeedDemon is missing!)

That leads me to the conclusion that Feedreaders internet acces is not correct!
There is a "button" were the user can copy the settings from Inter Explorer but I think that's were the problem starts!

Is that correct and can there be a better way to copy these settings?
