Feed update reloads the displayed page

Windows XP SP2
FeedReader 3.13
Default web browser: Firefox 3

When the Unread articles item is selected in the left pane, each time a new feed is updated with new articles (top pane), the page currently displayed (bottom pane) is refreshed.
It is very annoying as when you read a long article, you always go back to top, when you watch a video, it is rewinded to the start et when you post an answer to a blog, it is erased and you have to write it again from scratch.
Why refreshing the bottom pane?

By the way, when you delete the last "unread message", it is still displayed in the bottom pane: it should be erased.

(I know, I should have created 2 posts because there are 2 issues but the last one does not deserve a post).

I forgot the most important, congratulations for the app, FeedReader rocks!

same glitch in Feedreader

Hi,

I don't know if it is allowed to commment that I experience the same glitch in the program. I am using Feedreader with exactly the same configuration as the first poster here. I recently experienced that, on displaying a video on a lenghty subject, the video suddenly stops playing and starts all over again. Since there is no regular interval at which this occurs, it appears to be when one of the feeds is refreshed with a new item.

But I have to say, apart from this relatively minor glitch: Feedreader is excellent! Firefox offers a RSS-reader itself, but I never used it.
